Introduction
Crop, Extension and Farmers Development Division goals is to encourage and increase the number of pepper entrepreneurs in the pepper industry. The division consists of three sections; Crop , Extension and Farmers Development.
Goal
Increase acreage and productivity through the giving of agricultural inputs, extension activities and encourage farmers to involve in entrepreneurship.
Pepper Planting Development
Functions
- To plan, implement, supervise, monitor and review Pepper Planting Development Programmes;
- To plan, implement, supervise, monitor and review the implementation of Pepper Quality Improvement projects at Farm Level;
- To plan, implement, supervise, monitor and review the implementation of 1AZAM Programmes (Azam Tani) in Sarawak;
- To plan, coordinate, manage, supervise, implement and review the process of procurement and distribution of agricultural inputs.

Functions
- To plan, implement, supervise, monitor and provide training and guidance for Entrepreneur Development Projects, Bumiputra Economic Empowerment Projects and Production Of Pepper Cutting Projects;
- To plan, suggest and monitor the implementation of Farm Road projects for Smallholders;
- To plan, implement and monitor the implementation of Pepper Ownership and Storage Schemes (SPPL) and Physical Forward Market (PFM)

- To plan, coordinate and implement development exhibition activities;
