Branch Office

Malaysian Pepper Board (MPB) Sabah Regional Office is located at Lot No. 52-1 & 52-2 Block G, Lorong Plaza Permai, Alamesra, Sulaman Coastal Highway, Likas, 88400, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. It oversees the pepper industry activities covering Interior, Kudat, Tawau, Sandakan and West Coast Division. There are various units in this regional office which have their own roles and responsibilities.
 
Main roles and responsibilities of the office are:
 
  • Implementing the Pepper Planting Development Programmes by distributing agricultural inputs, farm equipment and farm infrastructure assistance;
  • Conducting training and extension activities through Pepper Production Courses (KTPL), Transfer of Technology (TOT) Programmes and In-Situ courses to improve farmer’s knowledge in various aspects of new techniques particularly in pepper farm management;
  • Provide technical support on pepper processing and grading techniques at farm level to produce quality pepper.
  • Carrying out Trading Activities mainly purchase and distributions in Sabah.

It oversees the pepper industry activities covering Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Selangor, Pahang, Perak, Terengganu, Kelantan, Kedah, Pulau Pinang, Perlis and Federal Territory areas of Putrajaya and Kuala Lumpur. There are various units in this regional office which have their own roles and responsibilities.
 
Main roles and responsibilities of the office are:
 
  • Carrying out Trading Activities mainly sales and distributions in Peninsular Malaysia.
  • Implementing the Pepper Planting Development Programmes by distributing agricultural inputs, farm equipment and farm infrastructure assistance;
  • Conducting training and extension activities through Pepper Production Courses (KTPL), Transfer of Technology (TOT) Programmes and In-Situ courses to improve farmer’s knowledge in various aspects of new techniques particularly in pepper farm management;
